WB: The system promoting green energy in Romania is over 50% more generous than European average

Romania is about to endorse one of the most generous schemes intended to support investment in green energy, with a report of the World Bank specifying the current legislation in the field is over 50% more generous than the European regulations. This means that an investor in Romania that will supply one MWh of green power to the grid will get 160 euros in case of wind power while investments in wind farms in Europe get an incentive of about 90 euros per MWh on the average.
