Romania January Trade Gap Narrows To EUR186.2M

Romania’s trade deficit narrowed to EUR186.2 million in January, from nearly EUR473 million in the year-earlier month, the country’s statistics institute INS said Monday. Exports rose 47.8% on the year to EUR3.42 billion in January, while imports were up 29.4% to EUR3.6 billion. Vehicles made up for the bulk of exports and imports, amounting to 41.8% of overall exports and 35.1% of the imports in January, the data showed. Read more on Mediafax.ro
