MFP draws over 533 million lei through bond issue

The Public Finance Ministry (MFP) on Thursday drew 533.5 million lei (approximately 125.53 million euros) in an issue of benchmark Government bonds placed on tender through the National Bank of Romania. The bonds have the maturity date on April 30, 2015, and the issue was adjudicated at an average yield of 7.27 percent. The weighted-average price the issue was adjudicated at was 95.3769. The total value of the issue was 300 million lei, while the total demand of the 12 banks participating in the tender accounted for approximately 1.311 billion lei. Read more on Financiarul.ro
