Fukushima plant: Japanese government in maximum alert

Japanese PM Naoto Kan declared on Tuesday that its government is in maximum alert in managing problems caused by the nuclear accident at Fukushima, AFP informs quoted by Japanese news agency Jiji.

Kan declared that the situation remains unpredictable and that after the quake and tsunami on March 11th there were several radioactive leaks. The government, Kan said, will treat this problem with maximum alert.
