Traian Basescu: We will have to continue the IMF agreement without taking the money

President Traian Basescu considers that a new agreement with the IMF, precautionary should be built on several pillars: fiscal consolidation, simplify fiscal policy, health reform, EU fund absorption and a more flexible labor market.

According to the President, the small reform in health should be continued by shutting down hospitals, merging hospitals, introducing cost standards, a private management and the introduction of a pilot project that would enable doctors to have a contractual relation with the hospitals.
