President Traian Basescu said, on Tuesday, at the start of the meeting with the Director General of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, that, although there were a few problems, the IMF agreement was finalized.

“We managed to complete the second agreement with the IMF. To be honest, there were some problems, but with goodwill of all, the agreement was finalized. Now, we need to start a new one. The Director General of the International Monetary Fund is paying a two-day visit to Bucharest. Christine Lagarde had, on Monday, a meeting with Prime Minister Victor Ponta.
