Tarom General Director quits

Tarom’s general director, Ruxandra Brutaru announced her resignation on Tuesday. Her position will be taken over by somebody else starting April 2011, sources within the Transports ministry declared for HotNews.ro. Tarom is the national Romanian airline, under the lead of the Transports ministry. Social Democrats requested on February the resignation of Tarom director, accused of mismanagement. PSD spokesperson Olguta Vasilescu accused that in the last year, Tarom registered 100 million dollars losses. Social Democrats requested an internal investigation of the management of the company.
