Romanian Transport Minister Appoints New CFR Calatori Head

Romanian Transport Minister Anca Boagiu on Thursday appointed Dorin Ioan Maer in the position of general manager of state-run passenger railway company CFR Calatori. Until today, Maer has filled the position of deputy technical manager of railway company CFR S.A. On Wednesday, Boagiu dismissed CFR Calatori head Liviu Pescarasu, following checkups which revealed irregularities regarding a contract to upgrade diesel multiple units. Read more on Mediafax.ro
