Romanian Railway Workers Stopped Trains For Two-Hour Warning Strike
16.03.2011, 08:07 | Transportation | 625 views

Romanian railway workers ceased work for two hours Wednesday morning and all trains en route have been stopped in stations or on the way.

Trains are halted between 7 and 9 a.m. as unionists and railway company representatives failed to find common ground on signing new collective work contracts.

The seven-hour negotiations held Tuesday failed to convince railway unionists to give up their plan to stage a warning strike, said union federation leader Gheorghe Fratica.
