Romanian Public Servants Could Be Fired While On Parental Leave – Bill

Romanian public servants may be fired or transferred to other positions while on parental leave according to a bill amending the statute of public servants, up for public debate.

The bill Romania's Ministry of Administration and Interior put up for public debate Thursday repeals from the current law an article that states public servants may not be fired or transferred to other positions while on medical or parental leave except at their own initiative.
