Romanian President Hails Govt Decision On Child Rearing Benefits

Romanian President Traian Basescu said on public television late Wednesday the solution found by the Government for the issue of child rearing benefits and parental leave is good because it brings together all possible options. "First of all, it's flexible, and mothers can stay home for two years. Or, if the mother decides to go back to work during the first 12 months, she continues to get RON500 a month until the child is two," Basescu said. Read more on Mediafax.ro
