Romanian President Calls On Govt To Stop Endless Talks With Unions On Labor Code

Romania’s President Traian Basescu called on ministers to set precise deadlines during negotiations with unions on draft laws, including the Labor Code.

The head of state said union leaders usually try to foil the adoption of normative acts by prolonging discussions. He stressed that talks on the Labor Code can't go on endlessly, and stressed that the Government must make a decision.
