Romanian Parliament Adopts IMF-Required Pension Law

The Romanian Parliament on Tuesday adopted the IMF-required pension law that the head of state had sent back for reexamination, requesting that the retirement age be set at 63 for women and 65 for men. The bill was adopted with 172 votes in favor and the only amendment was brought to the article regarding retirement age, as the president had requested. Read more on Mediafax.ro
