Romanian Leu’s Exch Rate Weakens Slightly To 4.1865 Vs Euro

Romania’s leu traded in ranges against the euro in mid session Tuesday and the central bank’s reference weakened slightly to 4.1865 units, from 4.1843 units a day earlier. Against the US dollar, the leu's indicative lost 0.8% to 3.0183 units, after having gained over 2% to a 12-month high in the previous session. The leu opened slightly lower on the day at 4.186/4.188 per euro, amid a negative sentiment in the region as the crisis in Japan worsens. Read more on Mediafax.ro
