Romanian Leu’s Continues Upward Trend Vs Euro, Exch Rate At 4.0881

The Romanian leu extended gains against the euro Friday, and the central bank’s reference rate gained 0.34% at 4.0881 units, the strongest in almost one year. Against the US dollar, the leu gained 0.6% , to 2.8876 units, from 2.9046 units Thursday. The leu opened stronger at 4.0875/4.09 to the euro, compared to 4.0985/4.102 to the euro at closing the day before. Read more on Mediafax.ro
