Romanian Leu Hits Fresh 10-Month High At 4.1869 Vs Euro

Romania’s leu surged against the euro in mid-trade Tuesday on a positive sentiment in the international markets and the central bank’s reference rate gained almost 0.5% to 4.1869 units, from 4.2065 units in the previous day. However, the leu's rally against the US dollar came to an end, as the central bank's indicative weakened 0.2% to 3.0071 units, from 3.0001 units on Monday. Read more on Mediafax.ro
