Romanian Labor Code To Limit Employer Damage Claims To Five Times Minimum Wage

Romania's Government has decided to limit the amount demanded by an employer as compensation for damage caused by an employee during their duties to five times the gross minimum wage. Employees will be financially liable for damage caused by them during the course of their work, but not for damage caused by force majeure or other unforeseen, unavoidable events, or the work's inherent risk, says the amended Labor Code.
