Romanian Govt Decides Health Ministry Will Coordinate Health Insurance House

Romania's Health Ministry will coordinate the National Health Insurance House, but the House will remain autonomous and in charge of the healthcare budget, the Government decided Wednesday through an emergency ordinance. The ministry will have to approve the draft income and expenses budget, and bills drafted by the House, as well as its work plan and statute, said Health Minister Ladislau Ritli. Quarterly or yearly, the House will send the ministry reports on its activity and the ministry will be able to control drug procurement auctions. Read more on Mediafax.ro
