Romanian Govt Approves Norms To Apply Act Checking High Wealth Individuals

The Romanian Government on Thursday approved the norms concerning the application of the normative act on checking high wealth individuals, said Government spokeswoman Ioana Muntean. According to Muntean, the norms will be applied staring this year. The Government decided last year that individuals whose real income exceeds their declared income by at least 50,000 lei (EUR1=RON4.1788) will pay 16% of the difference as tax.
