Romanian Employment Agency Head Expects Jobless Rate To Drop To 5% This Year

Silviu Bian, president of the Romanian National Employment Agency (ANOFM), said Friday that the unemployment rate in the country could drop this year to 5%. Bian could not provide an exact figure for the new unemployment rate, but said that the forecast for economic growth and the start of seasonal activities (such as construction) are signs that new jobs will be created.
