Romanian Electrica Serv Cut 1,400 Jobs This Year

Romanian Electrica Serv, the maintenance unit of state-run electricity supplier and distributor Electrica, cut some 1,400 jobs since the beginning of the year, a measure included in the company’s restructuring process. "Since the beginning of 2011, we have laid off some 1,400 employees, with the unions' approval and with severance pay.
