Romanian Constitutional Court Clears Education Law

Romania's Constitutional Court on Tuesday ruled that the education law, adopted through a vote of confidence in the Government, is constitutional and will be sent to the President. The Court rejected the claims of unconstitutionality filed by Senate Chairman Mircea Geoana and by 108 deputies of the opposition parties - social democrats, liberals and conservatives.
