Romania Must Analyze Whether Euro Adoption Still Possible In 2015 - Pres

Romanian President Traian Basescu said Thursday that authorities should analyze whether it is still possible for Romania to adopt the euro in 2015, as the Eurozone can no longer support weak economies. Basescu said Romania is able to meet the Maastricht criteria (for euro adoption) by 2015, but pointed out that the crisis has shown that fulfilling them is not enough. Read more on Mediafax.ro
