Romania Ctrl Bker Says Currency Fluctuations Up To 4% Neglectable

Fluctuations of 3% to 4% in the leu’s exchange rate are neglectable and should have minimum impact on prices, central bank governor Mugur Isarescu said Friday. Isarescu said the recent appreciation of the national currency against the euro should ease concerns over an imminent weakening of the leu or at least it should discourage those who seek to justify higher prices by the leu's depreciation.
