Railway state companies arrears increased by 2,248% in 10 years

An analysis on the financial situation over the last 10 years of the railway state companies revealed an increase of their arrears by 2,248%, a press release of the Transports ministry reads.

The numbers seem incredible, which is why HotNews.ro contacted Transports ministry officials to confirm the numbers.

However, representatives of the Transports ministry confirmed the numbers, saying that these companies’ debts increased by over 22 times in 10 years.
