Qatar Airways, first Gulf airline company operating flights to Bucharest

A Qatar Airways flight landed in Bucharest for the first time on Monday and the company is going to operate flights on the Doha-Bucharest route four times a week. Qatar Airways is the first five-star airline company coming to Bucharest and the first airline of the Middle East operating direct flights to Romania. “We have wanted to come to Bucharest for many years, but we did not have the necessary number of aircraft for this,’ said Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker, who came to Bucharest on the inaugurating flight.
