Koreans turn Tulcea shipyard around after two years of losses

The management of STX OSV shipyard (the former Aker Tulcea), controlled by South Korea's STX Shipbuilding, says it has managed to turn around the company financially this year, so that 2010 will be a profitable year. In 2008 and 2009, the Tulcea shipyard reported losses of 48m RON (13m euros) and 15.9m RON (3.7m euros) respectively, though its turnover climbed by 39.4% to 719.7m RON (170.2m euros) last year alone.
