Financial Guard and Customs Authority: Will they be dissolved or not?

President Traian Băsescu intends to give another chance to the Financial Guard and to the National Customs Authority, which he is considering keeping as they are until December 31st in order to test their ability to fight tax evasion. "I would give another chance to these institutions until December 31st so they can prove whether they can fight tax evasion or not. I don't think that when an institution is going badly, you dissolve it. You have to make it work," said the head of state yesterday when the Public Service Ministry presented its review.
