Domo closes four unprofitable freestanding stores

Electronics and home appliances retailer Domo Retail, the second-biggest player on the Romanian market in terms of the 2009 turnover, has closed four stores and relocated another this year because they were not profitable. "We closed these stores because they did not meet the performance targets," said Ligia Roşu, marketing manager of Domo Retail, without, however, providing details on a store's performance indicators. The retailer has closed a store in Bucharest (in the Obor area), in Drobeta Turnu Severin (I.C. Brătianu Street), Ploieşti (Şoseaua Vestului Road) and Cluj Napoca (Emil Isac Street).
