Chinese producer Sinover Wind Group wants to invest in wind turbine plant in Romania

The major Chinese producer of wind turbines and the second in the world, Sinovel Wind Group, aims to invest in Romania in building wind farms, but also in a wind turbine plant, announced the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest (CCIB). Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania were initially taken into consideration for this new production facility, but Romania became the first option for Sinovel. The Chinese group currently operates two medium capacity projects in Romania. According to CCIB, a mission of the Department of International Affairs of the Chinese group Sinovel recently visited Faur company in Bucharest, member of the Chamber of Commerce, and held talks with the company management to create some projects in the energy area together with the Bucharest company.
