Baneasa Airport might become city airport

The estimative cost of modernization work on the other three buildings of the Baneasa Airport so that it should fully become a city airport will top 10-15 million euros, Valentin Iordache, communication manager of the National Airport Company in Bucharest. Now at Baneasa they work with small aircraft. There are technical, training, private flights. The Baneasa Airport hosts both rescue flights and ambulance flights (SMURD), but also other kind of flights that belong to the category of the general aviation.
