ArcelorMittal Galaţi set to restart furnaces

Romania's biggest iron-and-steel complex ArcelorMittal Galaţi, controlled by billionaire Lakshmi Mittal, will in early January restart the furnace stopped a month ago on the falling orders from Turkey. Thus, the furnace will be restarted two weeks earlier than the representatives of the complex had originally announced and it will operate at 50-60% of its capacity, according to ZF estimates.
