Alpine: We are relying on orders from the state in 2011

At least half the works of Alpine Romania, the local subsidiary of Austrian constructions group Alpine, could consist of road infrastructure works this year, said Ionel Giuglea, the company's general manager. Alpine's contract portfolio therefore shifts focus to contracts with the state, considering that the two ministries responsible for the Romanian road network, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, have announced tenders for hundreds of kilometres of motorway and thousands of kilometres of county and local roads.
