More than 22 people, doctors and nurses, on Tuesday morning got aboard two airplanes that left for Podgorica to take over some of the injured in the road accident of Sunday in Montenegro.

State Secretary with the Health Ministry Raed Arafat, already in Podgorica along with Romania’s Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean, told a press conference broadcast on the Digi 24 TV portal on Monday evening, that that two airplanes – a Hercules and a Spartan – are well equipped with medical equipment, including ICU equipment.

‘In Bucharest four emergency hospitals are ready to take over the injured,’ said Arafat.

He mentioned that a third aircraft is already in Montenegro to be used for the transfer of the dead, which is expected to take place as soon as the dead identification is over.
