Traian Igas: Interior ministry lay offs will start in 30 days

Romania’s Interior minister Traian Igas said on Thursday that lay offs at the level of the ministry will start in about 30 days assuring that those employees who are on the streets will not be laid off. Regarding the food allowance which was recently cut to 130 lei Igas said that the cut will be applied only in June and then recovered in the third quarter. Igas said lay offs in the ministry will start in 30 days. The real reform was no made so far, he said. There are still positions in the ministry that should go, he said. Read more on Hotnews.ro
