Thousands participate in USL meeting in Bucharest

Thousands of people gathered on Thursday afternoon in the surroundings of the Bucharest Arc of Triumph for the rally organized by the opposition’s Social Liberal Union (USL).

The crowd covers the stretch between the Arc of Triumph till close to Victory Square.

According to a USL release, at around 4:30 the organizers confirmed the presence of about 20,000 participants at the meeting.

Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) Victor Ponta, leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Crin Antonescu and the Conservative Party (PC) Daniel Constantin are present at the rally.
