Teodor Baconschi: Romania sustains Croatia to join the EU

Romania’s Foreign Affairs Minister Teodor Baconschi declared on Wednesday that Romania will support Croatia to join the EU, underlying that recent speculations in the mass media are just temptations for sensational news. I would like to discourage speculations that were made and make it clear that all my declarations for daily Adevarul has nothing to do with Croatia, Baconschi said. He underlined that he said that a new EU member state will join without the mechanism being annexed and that Romania for five years a member already cannot see when the mechanism will be ended.
