Sources: New twists in Democratic Liberal options: a technocrat PM might be in the cards again

After a meeting with President Basescu, Democratic Liberals show signs that they are ready to accept an independent Prime Minister. HotNews.ro sources claim that on Tuesday night, at a meeting with Basescu local party organization leaders voted in favor of an independent Prime Minister for the beginning of March.

The first vote was cast on Sunday, February 13 but they changed their minds manifesting their support for incumbent PM Emil Boc. The situation seems to have twisted again. Several Democratic Liberal leaders declared for HotNews.ro, anonymously, that for the sake of the party, PM Boc must step down.
