Snow layer in northern Romanian mountains reaches 35 cm

About 30 cm of snow are covering the northern Romanian mountains on Monday evening, as it snows abundantly for several hours and visibility is lower. In northern Romania, in the Maramuresului Mt., the snow layer varies between 25 and 35 cm, the spokesperson of the Maramures County Inspectorate Border Police Radu Lungu told. Still, no accidents were registered. In the eastern county of Vrancea instead three people were brought to the hospital after a car crash due to the slippery road caused by the abundant snow.
