Romanian Social Democratic Party To Attend Meeting With President Basescu

The Romanian opposition Social Democratic Party decided Monday to take part in a discussion with President Traian Basescu, after the latter met earlier with the parties in government. The President had invited Romania's parliamentary parties to discussions Monday afternoon on the country's economic and social outlook for the next two years, Schengen Area accession and this year's legislative priorities. The Liberal Party and Conservative Party announced they will not attend the meeting. Read more on Mediafax.ro
