Romanian President Signs Decree Appointing Orban Minister Of European Affairs

Romanian President Traian Basescu on Tuesday signed the decrees releasing Leonard Orban from the position of presidential adviser and appointing him Minister of European Affairs. Orban will be sworn in after the two decrees are published in the Official Journal. The creation of the Ministry of European Affairs was approved Tuesday in Parliament with 245 votes of 245 cast, in a plenary session attended by 423 MPs. Read more on Mediafax.ro
