Romanian President Invites Parties To Talks On Constitution, Reorganization

Romanian President Traian Basescu has invited the political parties to a discussion on the revised Constitution and the country's administrative reorganization, in the latter part of June. Basescu said Friday that he has noticed some opposition leaders are open to reducing the number of MPs to 300 (as provided by the draft Constitution revision). There are also a number of common positions, between the ruling parties and opposition, regarding administrative reorganization, he said. Read more on Mediafax.ro
