Romanian President Calls On Magistrates Council To Hold Elections After Court Ruling

Romanian President Traian Basescu on Wednesday called on the High Council of Magistrates to postpone electing a new president and vice-president until January 20, after the Constitutional Court rules over the validation of the council’s members. The Romanian Constitutional Court will rule on January 19 on a notification brought to the recently validated list of new High Council of Magistrates (CSM) members. Read more on Mediafax.ro
