Romanian opposition social democrats and liberals will submit a no-confidence motion against the Government if the latter decides to pass the new Labor Code into legislation through a confidence vote in Parliament, Social Democratic Party leader Victor Ponta said Tuesday.
Opposition party leaders will hold talks with unions and employers on new labor legislation Tuesday.
Prime Minister Emil Boc said Monday ruling coalition leaders proposed that the Government should seek lawmakers' confidence vote to adopt new labor legislation. He added that the matter will be discussed with ruling parties' MPs.
