Romanian Opposition Parties Discuss Forming Alliance

Romania’s three opposition parties have taken steps toward forming an alliance, as liberals are close to teaming up with conservatives and social democrats are considering an alliance with liberals for the next six to eight years. The Liberal Party's standing office has approved unanimously Wednesday leader Crin Antonescu's proposition to form an alliance with the Conservative Party. The final decision belongs to the party's standing delegation, which is expected to assemble Sunday or next week. Read more on Mediafax.ro
