Romanian Mothers To Receive Extra Money As Child-Rearing Aid For Multiples

The Romanian Government will grant extra 600 lei (EUR1=RON4.3005) in child-rearing benefits in the case of multiple pregnancy and for a second child born in the interval in which child-rearing aid is paid, the Labor Ministry said in a press release Thursday. The measure is included in the emergency ordinance regulating maternity leave and child-rearing benefits starting next year. The Government decided Wednesday that mothers will be able to opt for two years maternity leave and receive up to RON1,200 as a child-rearing benefit. Read more on Mediafax.ro
