Romanian Constanta Sea Ports Closed Over Strong Winds

Romania's Black Sea ports around the city of Constanta were closed Saturday and barge traffic on the Danube-Sea Canal, through the Agigea lock to Constanta Sud-river port, has been restricted, because of strong winds. According to port authorities, the Mangalia port was the first to be closed, at 12.15 p.m., followed by the Constanta Nord, Constanta Sud (sea and river) and Midia ports, as the wind's speed measures about 7-8 on the Beaufort scale.
