Romanian Carmaker Dacia Employees Get RON260 Wage Raise

Employees of Romanian carmaker Automobile Dacia got a wage raise of 260 lei (EUR1=RON4.2065), or 13%, under the new collective work contract, Dacia union vice-president Ion Iordache told MEDIAFAX Tuesday. "The new collective work contract stipulates wage raises in two tranches. As of January, employees will get a wage raise of RON200, to be applied retroactively, and they will get an extra RON60 as of May. This is an average raise of 13%," said Iordache.
