President Traian Basescu promulgated the law on pensions

President Traian Basescu signed on Wednesday the decree to promulgate the law on pensions, the presidency informs. The law was also declared constitutional by the Constitutional Court earlier today. The law on pensions was adopted on Tuesday, December 7 by the Chamber of Deputies that had the decisive vote and voted for the request to reexamine the request of the President to change the retirement age for women at 63 and not 65 as seen initially.
