President Basescu before leaving for the Summer European Council: We will not accept to have new requirements to join Schengen

President Traian Basescu will attends, on Thursday and Friday the Sumer European Council meeting. The agenda includes subjects like the economic problematic, immigration, consolidating Schengen and the negotiations of Croatia to join the EU and the evolutions in the South vecinity of the EU. The chief of state talked about leaving for Brussels about an agreement for consolidating Schengen that changes entrance requirements.
